Construction time: Who knows, e-mail the author(s). This one's been around for a while.
Works with: Unreal Tournament 2004 ONLY.
Website: http://voiceshrine.beyondunreal.com.
Pack information: 10 Acknowledgements, 10 Friendly Fires, 42 Taunts, + orders and stuff.
To those who don't like voicepacks: Don't worry about it. I just like to have fun. :)

Description: The best Unreal Tournament voice pack in history (quite possibly) has now been
converted to UT2004 by myself (Rainecloud). Additional credits go to the original author
of the pack (Homer_Stud), and the person who painstakingly transferred this amazing pack
into Unreal Tournament 2003 (Fraggin_Phun). Thanks, guys. :)

Distribution: Feel free to distribute this file in whatever way you like, as long as
this readme file is included - unaltered.

Please note: the original README file for this voicepack is included below, but the installation
process has CHANGED. I've left the readme intact for reference purposes, but please DON'T follow
the installation instructions contained within, or your pack won't work.

How to Install: Unzip all files and place the JudgeJudy2k4.U and JudgeJudy2k4.int files
into your UT2004\System foler. THAT'S IT! You'll now be able to select the voicepack
from the drop-down voice menu in the game. And yes, you can do this with bots, too.
Just hit 'Edit' and then change the voice in the menu. :)

Changes in this revised version: The volume. The pack is now of an adequate volume, as the 2003 version
of the pack was a little too quiet. Many thought that this was a bug in Unreal Editor, as no matter
how the wav samples were modified, UT still defaulted them to play at a specific volume. However, this
matter has now been resolved, and an explanation will be given in my next tutorial.

Final note: This pack and it's contents have been modified with permission of Fraggin_Phun.

Final, final important note: the original README file for this voicepack is included below,
but the installation process has CHANGED. I've left the readme intact for reference purposes,
but please DON'T follow the installation instructions contained within, or your pack won't work.

Official Description
(to be used when hosting or linking to this voice pack)
--------------------
This is the very first UT2003 Voice Pack, the one that started them all, by Fraggin_Phun :) The sounds in this version (Homer Jay 3 Simpson) are extracted from the original HomerJay Simpson UT Voice Pack version 1.00 by Homer_Stud. This new version (3.5) has server push content enabled!

Other Info
----------
I found that I couldn't access many of the voices hidden in the original
UT voice pack, so I extracted them, and created a second, and now a third voice pack. Homer is great, can't get enough Homer sounds, so get the HomerJay3 voice pack!

This was the very first Voice Pack for UT2003! See the following URL for details on how it was created.

http://members.rogers.com/fraggin_phun/UT2003_VoicePacks.html

This voicepack also incorporates two available HomerJay portraits, used in the GUI player selection window and in HUD messages. There is also an optional character description for the player selection menu. See installation instructions for details. Note: This is not a full Homer model or skin, it is just the portrait. I find it makes selecting the right character in the GUI much easier. Plus it is just so funny.

Type
----
This Voice Pack is intended for DM, but because all categories are implemented (including orders), can be used anywhere.

INSTALLATION
------------
- Put the HomerJay3.u, HomerJay3Mod.u, and HomerJay3.upl files in your UT2003\System folder
- Put the homerskins.utx file in your UT2003\Textures folder
- Change your user.ini file to use the new HomerJay3 character (Character=HomerJay3)
- For best results, change the Name=HomerJay3 as well, or leave it empty
- Optionally add the text from HomerJay3.XPlayersint.txt to your UT2003\System\XPlayers.int file

*** If you want to use the second HomerJay portrait instead, change the line that is commented out in your HomerJay3.upl file.

Online Play / Server Admins
---------------------------
Remember, you can't use a voice pack online unless the server you're playing on has it installed. The server admin must
- Put these files in their system and textures folders
- Edit the UT2003.ini file to include the new packages: add ServerPackages=HomerJay3 and ServerPackages=HomerJay3Mod in the [Engine.GameEngine] section of their UT2003.ini file
- Run the following command to rebuild your server's valid package list: UCC MASTERMD5 *.U (if using on patch 2136 or later, run this command instead: UCC MASTERMD5 -c *.U)
- Restart the server

If you don't run the ucc mastermd5 command, servers with cheat/hack protection turned on will stop you from joining the server. All sorts of bad things will happen, including error messages (often seen only after the first game). This is a standard restriction that affects all voice packs, unless the server has added the .u file AND rebuilt their master MD5 table.

Push Content Mod source file included
-------------------------------------
The .uc file in HomerJay3Mod\Classes is provided only for reference, for those interested in learning how to compile the push content package mod file. The .uc file is not required for individual or server game play.

Limitations
-----------
This isn't a HomerJay3 bug, but rather a UT2003 limitation. Epic tells me that message strings associated with sounds in the package don't show on the HUD now to keep them from spamming away text messages and other important stuff. The only exception is the ability to turn this on for the "Other" category (I've turned them on). I personally don't particularly like this, but as the saying goes, "it is what it is". You can always combine the "speech" command with a "say" command to force message text to be displayed.

Known Bugs
----------
- The Homer portrait comes up blank in any team games
- Despite the fact that I normalized the wav files, some still sound lower than the others, and people seem to complain about volume in general being low
